PORCHES

PRACTICAL KERB APPEAL FOR YOUR HOME

A porch doesn't just offer more room for storage; it can often add an additional layer of home security while helping to increase the energy efficiency of your home.

Whether you're looking for extra space or you want to maximise heat retention at the front of your house, we'll work closely with an independently inspected Master Builder to build a porch that meets the needs of you and your Essex home.

WHICH PORCH IS BEST FOR YOU?

PITCHED

As the name suggests, this porch has a pitched roof which works well with the majority of houses and its size is a particularly good option for homeowners with smaller front gardens.

GABLE PITCHED

This style is another great option for use where the porch can't extend too far into the front garden due to planning restrictions. Its defining feature is the peak at the front which can often be customisable.

DOUBLE HIPPED TO RIDGE

Ideal for homes with larger front gardens, this is a modern design with a traditional roof that extends outwards. This style often provides a generous amount of storage space.

DOUBLE HIPPED TO WALL

Similar to pitched roofs, this Elizabethan design is a classic favourite providing extra space and complements older style properties very well.

SINGLE HIPPED

Providing ample room in and around the door, this style is great for providing more space when the height of the front of your home can't be altered.

FLAT

Great for matching the style and design of a bungalow, flat roof porches remain a popular choice and generally can blend well with any contemporary property.
